Spring is on its way, bringing with it a sense of renewal and revitalization. Give the season a fresh start by eating clean—learn to cook simple, healthy meals with Executive Chef Armando Oladle!
On March 24th, join the North Cypress chef for a live cooking demonstration and learn how to prepare healthy meals for your family and friends. The event, “Healthy Cooking with Chef Armando and Chef Laura,” is the latest seminar of North Cypress Medical Center’s Wellness Seminar Series. The series aims to create a sense of community among locals in Cypress. With expert advice and the support of their peers, locals can stay motivated and feel positive about living a healthy lifestyle.
“We always wanted to bring wellness to the community,” says wellness coach Glauce Farge. “The whole idea behind the overall series is to learn how to be healthy and follow a healthy life without giving up too much of your life. It explains how can you add to your goals and develop a healthy lifestyle and keep up with the routine.”
As Chef Armando demonstrates how to cook a healthy meal, he will also be giving tips and tricks of the trade. The event is perfect for individuals just learning to cook, or for those who want to incorporate better habits into their diet.
Chef Armando will be showing several simple techniques and offering many of his favorite recipes. In addition, he will share tips to save both time and money on meal preparation. Guests can incorporate his hearty suggestions by drawing up a meal plan together.
The seminar takes place on March 24th at 6:00 PM in the North Cypress Dining Room and will include both a presentation and Q&A portion. The wellness seminars are free of charge and will be presented by Dr. Dorothy Serna, a physician who specializes in internal medicine at North Cypress Medical Center. For more information, visit here.
