Join us on the shores of Towne Lake for Lake-A-Palooza this Sunday, April 13th from 12 to 5 pm! The day is jam-packed with all kinds of family-friendly fun: bumper boats, bubble walkers, boat rides, rock climbing, face painting and delicious food trucks just to name a few. As always, Lake-A-Palooza is free and open to the public.
This is Towne Lake’s third year to host Houston-area families for Lake-A-Palooza. The lake is the star of the show, hosting Aggie Ski Team waterskiing demonstrations, kayak and paddleboard lessons, boat tours, a fishing tournament, and the crowd-pleasing “Heart of Texas Dock Dogs” performance with high-flying routines off the dock.
“Lake-A-Palooza highlights some of the best of Towne Lake’s family-centered amenities,” said Peter Barnhart, Development Partner of Caldwell Companies and one of the day’s boat captains. “Towne Lake is unique, being deep and large enough to allow motorized boating for water skiing, tubing and more. Entire families and children of all ages celebrate along this beautiful lake, meeting new friends and enjoying the activities and shows.”
Families can feast on delicious food as well. Vendors such as BackYard Grill, Grill ‘Em Girls, Frosted Betty and Kona Ice will be serving hamburgers, hotdogs, fish tacos, cupcakes and sno-cones for everyone to enjoy.
