Residents of Cypress and Houston know how important it is to stay connected and create a sense of community in their neighborhoods. Now that community is growing with H-E-B’s new Grant Market in Northwest Houston.
H-E-B is the first choice among many Houston grocery shoppers for its local foods selection and native Texan history – a history still being made today. The Grant Market is the first of its kind in many ways. The new location at 14100 Spring Cypress Road is very unique and differs from H-E-B’s previous strategy of building large market stores in urban settings. Instead, they listened to their most loyal customers and built the 100,000 square-foot signature store right in the Cypress area neighborhood.
“We found that customers were looking for a location that was more centrally within the community, as opposed to another one along busy highways where people have to fight traffic,” said Unit Director Rick Copeland. “We’ve done smaller neighborhood stores, but this is really the first time we’ll have a store offering the latest and greatest in a neighborhood setting.”
Another of its firsts is the new The Café at H-E-B. Found in no other store, The Café is a made-to-order bistro cafe where customers can order freshly prepared salads, sandwiches, and juices all made with fresh produce and ingredients from the on-site deli and bakery. The Grant Market will also have more organic and gluten-free items, as well as the largest cake display of any other Houston area H-E-B.
Less and eight miles away from all Towne Lake residents, the new Grant Market is open and full of fresh local food options. Be sure to explore this new part of the Cypress community today! Get Directions ›
