Things are looking good for Towne Lake - the master planned community has gone from idea to development and attracted a lot of new features along the way. Here are just some of the highlights of living by Houston’s largest private lake.
The Boardwalk, Towne Lake’s own waterfront retail center.
Living far from entertainment, restaurants, and basic groceries used to be one of the hassles of being in the suburbs, but Towne Lake was designed with convenience in mind. The upcoming Boardwalk is an easily accessible center for dining, shopping, and office space. Kroger has made plans to build a new storefront in the area, making weekend shopping trips convenient for residents. Accessible via water and land, The Boardwalk brings the best perks of living by the water in one space and is set to become a new hub for community life.
New medical center within the community.
By the end of 2015, Towne Lake will have its own medical center. The North Cypress Medical Center is building its full-service, 24-hours emergency room and new offices while keeping its building to a Texas Hill Country style to complement the area’s aesthetics. The center will be fully equipped to handle diagnostic exams like MRIs, ultrasounds, fluoroscopies, and CT scans, making it easy for residents to receive comprehensive care quickly and conveniently.
Award-winning community designs.
Towne Lake’s community has attracted a great deal of attention. The Urban Land Institute of Houston placed Towne Lake as a finalist in its 2015 Development of Distinction Awards. Not only that, the residential development unit Caldwell Communities was awarded the highest honors in seven major categories for the Greater Houston Builder’s Association’s 2014 PRISM awards.
