The Northwest Branch Library is combining fun and learning this summer.
On Monday, August 4th, the library will host a fun-filled afternoon for children ages 3 and up. Three different science-oriented classes will be available to the general public.
Little Beakers
Little Beakers is an introductory math and science story time activity for children 3 to 6. Kids will be introduced to concepts in patterns, measurements, sequences, shadows and more. The Little Beakers story time is a great way for young ones to learn while they have fun. Story time starts at 1:30 pm
Fizz! Pop! Creations
Children ages 5 to 10 learn how to make an X-Ray and see what’s under their skin. This science-focused craft time is sure to entertain and educate. Fizz! Pop! Creations craft time will be held from 3 pm to 4 pm.
Bang! Boom!
Older kids will have an opportunity to learn and showcase their science skills with Bang! Boom! Children ages 11 and up will participate in a series of creative science challenges. Bang! Boom! starts at 4 pm.
