First Community Celebration Draws Big Crowd
More than 400 area residents – including many new Towne Lake homeowners – enjoyed the first annual Independence Day celebration and fireworks show.
The event was co-sponsored by the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce and featured games and rides for the kids, great food from Chuy’s and Backyard Grill, free ice cream courtesy of H-E-B, a DJ playing fun tunes and of course, a spectacular, 20-minute fireworks display.
This year’s celebration was especially gratifying for Towne Lake homeowners who experienced the first of many community events with their neighbors, says Barbara Locke, sales and marketing manager of Towne Lake.
