More than 350 new home sites will be available by January 2014
CYPRESS, TEXAS (October 8, 2013) – Excitement is in the air as major development milestones have been passed at Towne Lake, Caldwell Companies’ northwest Houston community connected by water. New activity is taking place in the residential and commercial areas of the community, plus ground has broken on Anthony Middle School, the newest school in award-winning Cy-Fair Independent School District.
Chief among these developments, work has begun to prepare the Kroger site for construction. The 120,000-square-foot grocery store will be located at the southwest corner of Tuckerton Road and Barker Cypress, providing convenient access to Towne Lake residents and neighbors. Kroger is scheduled to be open for business by the end of 2014.
“Every milestone we pass brings our vision for Towne Lake closer to reality – a unique community that offers world-class amenities and fosters recreational living among its residents,” said Peter Barnhart, development partner, land development of Caldwell Cos. “These announcements are just the start of what is going to be a busy and exciting time for development at Towne Lake.”
New home sites will become available for purchase in October in The Waterway, a community situated on a series of canals that provide direct boating access to the lake. Once completed, The Waterway will feature more than 100 home sites by Princeton Classic Homes and Highland Homes. Canal-facing homes start in the upper $300s.
This month, work will be complete on the gated entrance at Water’s Edge, Towne Lake’s exclusive community featuring custom homes by some of Houston’s top builders. New home sites are being prepared in the community, which showcases some of the best views of Houston’s largest private recreational lake. Custom homes within Water’s Edge are priced from the $500s to the millions.
