With a growing number of active seniors in the Houston area, Avanti Senior Living announced early this year a new community dedicated to making active seniors comfortable.
Avanti Senior Living, based in The Woodlands, broke ground April 15 in the Towne Lake master-planned community as development plans for a 76,000 square feet facility were put into motion.
One of the first two communities in the Houston area and the beginning of several communities for Avanti Senior Living, this $15 million project will offer 90 residences for assisted living and memory care clients, and employ 75 people. Residents will be able to enjoy amenities such as a salon and spa, nail bar, multiple dining options and an activity center. Avanti Senior Living at Towne Lake is expected to open in the summer of 2015 at 17808 Lakecrest View Drive in Cypress with the second community, Vision Park, to follow in the fall of 2015 at 9446 Vision Park Drive in Shenandoah.
Other senior-living companies targeting Houston in the growth of assisted living include Dallas-based Caddis Partners, Houston-based Bridgewood Property Co., and Texas-based LaSalle Group.
Towne Lake residents can look forward to the benefits Avanti Senior Living will bring to the community within the next year.
