Dynamic Sports Training (DST) is opening a new facility in Cypress next month.
DST is a Houston-based sports performance training facility that specializes in performance enhancement for professional and amateur athletes. They have been featured in prestigious publications including ESPN The Magazine, the Houston Chronicle, Boston Globe and LA Times as well as ESPN shows Baseball Tonight and E:60.
Current DST athletes include Oakland A’s All-Star and Cy-Young award candidate Scott Kazmir, Cleveland Browns running back Ben Tate (formerly of the Houston Texans), Cleveland Indians center fielder Michael Bourn (formerly of the Houston Astros) and the UH baseball team.
DST also trains high school athletes from the Houston area. DST trainer Kevin Poppe said they’ve had great success with their high school athletes. “We’ve had football players go on to play in the Big 12, SEC and NFL, soccer players playing in the PAC 12 and Southland conferences and several basketball players playing at the collegiate and professional levels,” Poppe said.
Poppe will run their new Cypress facility, located at Premier Baseball of Texas, while founder Lee Fiocchi continues to run their Houston facility.
DST is currently offering summer camps at both locations.
