Each year, Cypress Christian School starts the school year with Blue & White Night ‒ a back-to-school event with great food and fun for the entire family.
This year, Blue & White Night was held at the football stadium on campus complete with a stage for their musical guest, the Robbie Seay Band ‒ a popular Christian band from Houston.
The event brings new and returning families together to introduce them to the fall athletic teams, hear an important message from the head-of-school, learn more about volunteer opportunities, dedicate the school year to God and to practice cheering for the Warriors!
Two CCS athletic teams – the varsity baseball team and the varsity girls’ track and field team - were honored with state championship rings during the program.
According to CCS parent Christine Ackterkirch, this year’s event was the “best Blue and White Night ever!” Fellow CCS mom and teacher Caroline Young agreed. “[It was] an amazing night! Great friends, good food, lots of sports teams to cheer for, cheerleaders, a sneak peek of the fall musical and the Robbie Seay Band. WOW! Thanks to our event sponsor Amerisource and everyone who worked so hard to make it happen!”
CCS, entering their 37th year of service, is a K-12 private Christian school located on Cypress N. Houston and Jones Road.
