Last month, the new Kroger Marketplace at Barker Cypress and Tuckerton had its grand opening.
Towne Lake’s parent company, Caldwell Companies, is in the process of finishing the development of a 250,000 square foot project that will include the brand new Kroger as well as several restaurant and retail spaces. The development backs up to Towne Lake and, when finished, will be accessible via boat.
The rest of the mix-use development is scheduled to be completed next spring and will be named the Towne Lake Boardwalk.
The Kroger provides residents of Towne Lake and other communities in the area a close alternative to the H-E-B and Randall’s grocery stores at Barker Cypress and Highway 290.
Other than convenience, the Towne Lake Boardwalk provides an amazing and completely unique living experience for residents. The parking space for boats will open a whole new door for combining convenience, leisure and luxury.
