Don’t look now, but the holidays are upon us. Lucky for Towne Lake residents, there are plenty of festive events and activities planned in Cy-Fair. Here are a few suggestions to help you celebrate the season.
Enjoy a Special Christmas Show
Artisan Ballet Company’s 8th annual performance of The Nutcracker will take place December 12-14th at the Berry Center. This performance will bring to life the classic holiday book with fabulous costumes and choreography, employing over 65 company members and other area guest performers. Keep the Kids Busy
K2 Academy has an exciting lineup of holiday events for your kids to enjoy. Send the kids to Turkey Run Camp this Thanksgiving Break from November 24-26th where they can enjoy gymnastics, arts and crafts, and more. Check out Santa’s Wonderland on December 7th. Kids can sip hot cocoa while they make snow and decorate cookies. After they have their hot chocolate fix, they can burn off some energy by playing on the trampolines and bounce mountain!
Finish Your Holiday Shopping
Shop the Cy-Fair Mistletoe Market this Saturday, November 22nd at the Berry Center. More than 150 vendors will be selling women's and children's boutique clothing, jewelry, home and holiday decor, and more.
Still have a few people left on your shopping list? Come to the Cougar Christmas Market December 13-14th at the Cy-Fair ISD Exhibit Center. This market also has over 150 vendors selling a variety of unique gift items, with a portion of proceeds going to the Cypress Creek FFA Booster Club.
Bake Something Tasty
Learn how to make gingerbread and build a gingerbread house this holiday season! This free class is part of the L.I.F.E. program and will take place on Wednesday, December 17th in the Lone Star College library. Click here for more information.
