North Cypress Medical Center is hosting a series of community wellness seminars to educate the public on the importance of healthy eating, exercise, and stress reduction. The seminar on January 20th is titled “Healthy Living with SMART Goals,” and the February 17th seminar is titled “Feet, Forks, and Fingers.”
Remaining educated about fitness and practicing a healthy lifestyle is important and offers many benefits. Being in good shape gives you more energy, reduces anxiety and depression, improves self-esteem, and helps you to manage stress in your life.
Physical activity doesn’t have to be a chore. Staying healthy doesn’t have to involve spending hours at the gym. Finding something you love doing and sticking with it will help you stay motivated. You can choose any activity that you enjoy, whether it be swimming, running, hiking the trails at Towne Lake, or anything else that gets you moving. Staying active can be a great way to have fun, make new friends, and spend quality time with family.
Experience a sense of renewal by beginning the new year on the right foot. Head to the Wellness Seminar and learn valuable tips to improve your life and find the right path toward achieving health and happiness.
